Street-based sex activities are often the most visible but only account for an estimated 20% of prostitution activities in Canada. The majority of activity occurs indoors and online.

Jerry Nash, Staff Sergeant – Edmonton Police Service
Staff Sergeant Jerry Nash is a 24-year member with the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) and has worked in the Vice Section for the past two years.
Amarjeet Sohi, Edmonton City Councillor – Ward 12
Councillor Amarjeet Sohi was elected to City Council in 2007. In his two terms on Council, he has taken on leadership roles in public transit, multiculturalism, and poverty elimination initiatives, among others.
John Walker, Psychotherapist – Community Counselling Centre
John works in private practice at the Community Counselling Centre. For the past 10 years, he has worked with women recovering from sexual exploitation.
Joan MacKinlay, Edmonton Community Member
Joan teaches English at Yellowhead Tribal College and lives in McCauley. She is a past president of the McCauley Community League and has a keen interest in social justice.
Bryan LeFleche, President – Crystal Kids
Bryan is currently serving his second term as the board president at Crystal Kids Youth Centre. Bryan also spends most of his time as a mentor for youth who attend Crystal Kids.
Ammarah Sattar, Summer Student – Crystal Kids
Ammarah was a summer student at Crystal Kids Youth Centre. She currently is completing Grades 11 & 12 in Texas, and plans to attend the University of Alberta in 2014 to study radiology. Ammarah loves to “be involved” and is best known for her childlike sense of fun.
